Dr. Singh offers invasive therapies to relieve the symptoms
of Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) narrowed arteries of the legs and
kidneys. These include:
Balloon angioplasty with stent placement in the blood vessels, which supply blood to
the legs with the hope of relieving the symptoms of leg discomfort associated
with walking.
The same therapy can be performed
to the arteries which supply blood to the kidneys to better control blood pressure
or preserve kidney function.
Peripheral vascular arteriography: Dye is placed into these arteries to
evaluate for dilation and/or blockages:
·
Abdominal
Aorta
·
Vessels
supplying blood to the legs
·
